First game of the season for the lads and an outing for the new kits.

Full squad to choose from plus bolstered with the inclusion of Ryan from the meteors.

Typical game versus Vic Colts at their pitch, not many chances and not many goals either. Good start from Hoylake playing the better football with some great moves just not ending in clear cut chances.

Second period saw our defence the busier of the two defences with Luke and Louis covering well to keep Victoria out plus a superb clearence off the line with the help of the post . Jack Milne alert in goal coming off his line to pick up any loose balls with some excellent kicks down the field.

Third period continued as the first two periods, half chance for Dan running across the edge of the box just couldn’t get to it with the defender on his back. Couple of break aways for Noel but their quick defenders where clearing everything. Toby and Peter working hard in midfield but on this size pitch it's a struggle to create chances.

It was going to be one of those days, nice to keep a clean sheet against one of the stronger teams we come up against.
