1st-Quarter
Mackenzie started in goal with George and Millie in defence, Jenson and Joel midfield and Alfie and Luca upfront. A great start by Heswall, Joel stopped their 1st goal attempt. Jenson and Joel had a good run towards the Heswall goal but it was kicked out. Alfie took ACH’s 1st attempt at goal but it was unlucky this time with a near miss. Jenson had the 2nd goal attempt which happily ended with a goal by Joel making it 1-0. George defended well and put the ball out for a corner. Jenson crossed to Luca who ran the length of the pitch resulting in a near miss.
2nd Quarter
Jenson made a great tackle but unfortunately the ball went out for a throw in. Joel and Luca had a good run with Luca then being given a throw in, he passed to Millie, Heswall took the ball down the pitch, Jenson made a tackle and took hold of the ball passing it then to Joel, Joel again had a goal attempt but it skimmed the post! Heswall had a goal attempt which Jenson stopped and thumped it down the pitch, with lots of crossing and passing this created a great goal scored by Alfie, leaving ACH 2-0 up.
3rd Quarter
ACH changed the goalie to have Millie in goal, little did she know that it was going to be a very boring 3rd quarter for her with much of the action being at Heswall’s end of the pitch (nail file out for Millie!!) With the rain starting it added to the excitement of this quarter with George stealing the ball and running the length of the field passing to Joel who again had a goal attempt, which unluckily got hedged! A new ball then gave Luca some energy to give a great pass to Joel who went on to score the 3rd goal for ACH. Joel took another shot but it was a little wide of the goal, this followed by Alfie scoring again for ACH, making it 4-0.
4th Quarter
Jenson had a cracking header and gave a great ball to Joel, passed to Mackenzie and our 5th goal arrived. Heswall moved with the ball towards ACH’s goal and Luca being Luca ran like Linford to make the tackle. Jenson took a throw in to George who ran clear through to goal and slotted home past the keeper for our 6th goal. Luca made a very good run which led to a corner by Joel that went straight to Jenson, unluckily for Jenson it skimmed the post! Millie saw a little action in this quarter. Heswall had a free kick which got them their consolation goal, well done.
A synopsis of the game was a great result by all and a great start to a new season, some great passing from Heswall and still all smiles at the end with a great consolation goal, shaking of hands all round.

1st-Quarter
George was in goal for ACH. It was a good start for Shore Villa with their 1st goal, making it 1-0. Jenson made a great tackle which went to Millie who kicked it all the way up the pitch. Both teams played well in the first quarter.
2nd Quarter
The 2nd quarter started well when Joel stole the ball from Shore Villa, a throw in was taken by Jenson which ended up out, Shore Villa took it through to the half way line but ACH brought it back into their half with Luca running the full length of the pitch and putting a great 1st goal in the net for ACH, few cartwheels to follow! The ball was kicked out in front of the reporter, which brought a lot of unwanted attention to the WAG rollers!! A great goal attempt was then made by Jenson which was slightly wide of the post, unlucky. A quick goal made again by Shore Villa leaving ACH down 2-1. A great pass from the kick-off by Joel, which went to Jenson. This quarter saw some great passing and defending by ACH.
3rd Quarter
ACH’s extra support turned up in the way of Neil Lussey, whom the mums noticed hadn’t had those pins on show when on holiday! Mackenzie was now in goal. A great pass to Millie which ended with Alfie who ran with the ball but unfortunately it went out for a goal kick. Jenson had a great kick from half way which nearly went in, Luca took it from there but had an unlucky fall, the ball was recovered by Alfie and kicked it straight into goal, giving ACH the equalizer, 2-2. Before I could write anymore Alfie shot again, goal in for ACH. Again quick passing saw Jenson take a hold of the ball and score the 4th goal.
4th Quarter
Kick off by Jenson who passed to Millie which unfortunately went out. Joel took a free kick which just missed. Mackenzie didn’t see much action until now; Shore Villa attempted to score but thankfully Mackenzie made a double save. There was a goal scramble in the goal area until ACH kicked it away down field, which gave Joel the space for a goal attempt which Shore Villa’s goalie saved. Great team work by Jenson and Luca which allowed Luca a clear shot for his 2nd goal, making it 5-2. Jenson passed through to Luca who ran on and passed in to the middle for Joel who then scored our 6th Goal. The best goal of the game!
A synopsis of the game is that today ACH showed they work great together as a team. Lots of high fives!!
Shore Villa played really well and were unlucky on a few occasions
