Newton Park - No Parking On Pavements

By Paul Williams

Watch out! The police have been issuing tickets.

Please be careful how you park your vehicle at Newton Park.

Grange Cross Lane gets really busy, particularly on match days, but please do not bump up the kerb to park, else you could find yourself hit with a fine.

We've had the following notice from Merseyside Police....

Parking on pavements

It is an offence to drive on to a pavement and an offence to cause obstruction to other road users, including pedestrians. Vehicles causing obstruction may be issued with a fixed penalty notice and in some cases removed at the owners expense.

Drivers are asked to have regard to pedestrians particularly pram and wheelchair users and those who are disabled and partially sighted when parking their vehicles.
