If you thought our coaches just held training sessions and managed matches and our parents stood on the line shouting and getting frustrated then think again. They're part-time match reporters too, and although we may not need to worry about losing their journalistic talent to the Guardian's Sports Section anytime soon, they do put in a lot of effort providing match reports for the club, parents and children to read.
Here is our pick of the best recent match report................

Another great game of football from the Meteors. We are improving with every game and the boys can be very proud of themselves after this display.
It was a cold frosty morning and the Meteors took some time to warm up. Ridgewood attacked early on and our defence held tight and Zack made some important early challenges. We struggled to keep possession at times but Oliver and Callum in midfield were able to make some driving runs and tried hard to carve open the Ridgewood defence. We looked very strong when defending corners and played the ball out of defence, Frankie and Zack make some charging runs up field but Ridgewood took the lead late into the quarter after the ball fell kindly as we tried desperately to clear the lines. Alex MJ was unlucky not to get a hand to the ball as it rolled over the line
We were beginning to warm up for the second quarter and Joseph PF made some great challenges in defence and showed confidence with the ball, creating space with a well controlled turn. Monty worked back and forth, trying to link up play between midfield and attack as we pressed hard to regain our momentum. Callum showed why he has scored so many goals this season with some great runs off the ball and was unlucky not to break away after a through ball from Oliver. Zack and Frankie continued to contain the Ridgewood defence and we kept a clean sheet for the second quarter.
By the third quarter we were well into our stride and began to move the ball into the Ridgewood half with confidence. Will and Oliver linked up well to try to create an opening. Alex MJ moved into attack as Joseph W came back into goal for the first time this year and made some important stops, showing what an asset he is to us. Alex F also showed how much he has improved this season, especially in his awareness of space and getting into the right positions to contain the opposition. A fantastic quarter where we always looked like scoring. Alex MJ created a fantastic opportunity with a lovely move down the right hand touchline, taking a pass from Callum and finding Oliver on the edge of the box but the shot just clipped the crossbar. We finished the quarter full of confidence and there was a real buzz running through the team.
We stepped up the gears again in the fourth quarter, Alex F again showing how much he has improved, making some strong challenges and passing the ball out of defence with accuracy. Frankie and Zack worked well at letting each other push up the field, one covering the other at the back and they both made some impressive runs up field. We had lots of opportunities and finally got our reward. Joseph W hoofed the ball up field from the goal kick and Alex MJ took the ball on a mazy run from the half way line to round the keeper and slot home. We kept on pressing and were unlucky not to take more from the game but Ridgewood are a good team and a draw was a good result for us.
Great team spirit and we played like a team who know how to play together. Alex F got a well deserved man of the match for a commanding display at the back but all the boys deserved it today.
